Carol lets out a breath as as she turns and heads in the direction of the abandoned bottle. She didn't hear anything distinct bottle breaking sounds, but she was a little distracted kicking some avian ass.

"You two were old friends, I take it?" she asks in a tone that's questioning, but not judgmental. It seems reasonable that a smuggler wouldn't be universally adored and had they been closer to Earth it easily could've been someone who wanted to jump her.
