He lets out a sigh. It had been building up for a while, in the back of his throat, but he can’t keep in anymore when she gets near. She’s so warm and the feel of her close to him is ... nice. His hands settle on her hips - to keep that proximity or maybe because he feels like he needs to hang on to something.

The thought that his data could help free up some extra time for her had crossed his mind. It was more of an afterthought behind helping warn her of some of the more treacherous regions of the space out here, but it did occur to him.

“Just don’t upload the charts all at once.” He murmurs. “Whomever you’re checking in with will wonder why you’re still hanging around.”
