Quite probably, but he isn't going to admit that to you yet, Nat. He's still feeling like he's got to impress you. It's not like you're giving him a ton of indication one way or another that he's succeeding or failing in that regard.

"I learned that I better be careful if I want to handle you." He murmurs. "I learned that you can be devastating, but that having you close will make someone feel protected."
