It's a shame. What he'd like to do is find an excuse to be around her, more than anything. Maybe hit the range again or hell, she could put him through all those drills she talked about before, laughable as that might be. The last time he did any calisthenics was during his Navy days. Whatever it took to keep her around.

Now, however, he seems to have signed himself up for a little homework. Perhaps this wasn't the great idea he thought it was.

"Guess I got some reading to do now." He says. "Unless you're gonna try to distract me on purpose to throw me off my game."
