He was, however, able to remain standing. He simply took the pain, harnessed it and redirected it. Anything in the room that wasn't nailed down shook, and a couple of screws popped out of the wall - a reminder of how much power Kylo Ren possessed.
When the wound was closed and Han was finally able to turn off the lightsaber, they would both find themselves staring down a very concerned Finn's blaster and a Wookie with a bowcaster. Neither of them knew what was going on, but both feared the worst.
