Would it shock anybody to know that among the handful of places Han had ever lived on for more than a few weeks, the location known as 'the smuggler's moon' was one of them? He knew the place pretty well, although it had been before he'd even met Luke and Leia that he'd had that apartment there. There was no guarantee that once they got out of the spaceport, Han would recognize much of anything there.
But it was the kind of place that even Han Solo could (at least somewhat) blend in still. There'd be work if they wanted. A thriving underworld depending on how interested Ben was in wanting to change his identity. Places to rent for relatively cheap. Maybe even an old connection of Han's or two available to help them along the way.
In the admittedly brief time he had to come up with a new destination, this one seemed to have the most going for it.
