Han, ultimately, doesn't get ahold of Xaverri. He hoped to, but he hadn't talked to the woman in more than a decade and only very sporadically at all since he'd met Leia. That was kinda how she preferred to operate anyway. Without attachments to anybody.
He could always try again a little later.
It ends up that he's only about ten minutes behind Chewbacca and Ben when he joins them in tavern they were killing time in. The place looks familiar ... but half the time he walks into one of these places he feels like it's only familiar because he's been in so many bars over the year that they've all started to feel like places he's been before. Like a strange kind of deja-vu.
He approached just in time to see Ben slam down whatever he was drinking spitefully, but not what it is that he was drinking.
"What's the point of pounding your drink like that, kid?"
