Has Josh ever known Han Solo to be the kind of guy who says things just to make them feel better? He shouldn't because he doesn't do that. He's a straight shooter. The only exception is when he needs to get something done. He ain't above telling a lie if he feels like he has to. For a job, usually. Or to cover his ass.
Anyway, the point is, he wouldn't have complimented the kid if he didn't feel like the young man was deserving of it. He smiles when he sees him jumping up to finish the work because of the sudden burst of excitement. Scruffy knows damn well it ain't because the kid already fished his beer.
He takes one more swig from the bottle before he pushes himself up to standing.
"Let's push the bike over to the engine first to save us a few steps." The frame of the speeder is pretty light when the engine isn't adhered to it.
