He wishes he could stop time long enough to figure out all the steps that it would take to continue to make her this contented. Then all he would have to do is follow them, right? There are a lot of things he'd be willing to do to continue to bask in her brightness.

He doesn't immediately go for trying to push off her skirt. He's taken off enough clothes in his day to know that it might be cinched in some manner. And unless this is some sort of very intricate closure, it's reasonable to assume he can help it off.
