They say that variety is the spice of life. Right now, she's inclined to agree. The prickling of anticipation between his kisses is a wonderful torment. It's hard not to wriggle more beneath him while he's doing that. She's not trying to distract him, exactly; distraction might lead to his stopping and she certainly doesn't want that.
