He doesn't seem to be at all put off by the touch of her fingers to his lips and the offering of support is too nice to pass up. Why on earth would he want to pass up any excuse to put himself close to her? He can't think of a good reason to at the moment, but there probably could be - here's hoping they're unlikely and rare.
