Do TIE\LN pilots have better training and more skill than stormtroopers? For the most part, yes. But it's not as if he wants to turn an otherwise nice conversation that they could have into one of what the military is like where he comes from.

"Well, yeah, that." He says with his lips twisting into a cocky smile. "I also don't want Brienne to think I'll be any kind of challenge for her in hand to hand combat. That's not the kind of military training I got."

"You can vault yourself right up through the ranks where I come from when you own your own ship.
