Kindness, for it's own sake, is alien to Han Solo. His life has taught him to expect such gestures to backfire on him or to at least expect that the other person was going to get something out of the effort as well. He worries about trusting people. Even her. It's not supposed to be that way, is it?

And yet, he seems to need the help. He's not getting a lot of traction in what he's been doing so far.

"I couldn't imagine myself not wanting to come back to you." He leans in to punctuate the thought with a kiss. "I'm convinced that spring is my favorite season."
