The bird and the fish would make their home together on the shore. Stranger things have happened. It would be a sweet sentiment, if he ever shared it. She'd like to hear things like that from him. There'd be sweet things from her, too, if she thought he wanted to hear them.
Frea leans into his touch with another of those little sounds of contentment she tends to make when he's touching her. She likes him to know how much she enjoys it, and hopes it'll inspire him to keep it up. (Another of those mutually beneficial acts of altruism?) It also buys her time to think of an answer beyond the flippant one she'd give in public.
"More of this," she admits after a minute or two of nuzzling into his hand. "I have good friends and work I like doing and more of this would make everything just about perfect."
