Dazed and a little mentally off that he might be, he can see that her mind is wandering off to places that she'd probably rather forget. It's an easy enough look and feeling for Han to empathize with because he's been there too. He's done things he's not proud of ... not even to get ahead in life, but simply to keep on scraping by.
