He figures that couldn't hurt to remind her one more time. He suspects that Rey probably will anyway, when all is said and done, but if she's really feeling skittish about being left behind ... staying on the ship is the best way to assure her that he (and Chewie) have no intentions of that.
With that said, Han grabs the headset and begins the song and dance that is speaking to planet Jakku's transit authority. It ought to go pretty easily this time because unlike many of the other times he has to get permission to land on a planet, he's not actually doing anything illegal this time.
