That works out perfectly for Rey, since she doesn't particularly wish to call an end to the kisses just quite yet. Breathing could wait for a little while, at least, all she wants is the comfort of his embrace, and the sweetly affectionate kisses - nothing too intense (yet), just the reiteration that she is not alone, that he is there, that everything was going to be okay.

Maybe someday things would calm down. Maybe. A girl can dream - and those were the dreams she'd much rather be having.

She hums softly when the kiss breaks, more than grateful that he stays close, keeps up the contact. "A little. But you'll be with me, so I know I'll be fine."
