It's his way of making them both feel better, after everything. There's not lingering frustration from either side, he thinks, but that's not to say that some time for just the two of them wouldn't help smooth things over and they do need to clean up before they get to Takodana so ... they're even being productive, right?

When the get to the cabin, Han releases Rey long enough to get the water running so that it can heat up for a minute. Then he'll start shedding clothes until he's undressed.
