Well. Rey could think of at least a few other ways that might work, but they absolutely would run the risk of somebody getting hurt. And the last thing that she wants is another instance of injury.
If this experiment goes well - and she's got every reason to believe that it will, then perhaps the next time will lend itself well for one or both of those other positions she's got in mind.
Rey needs a moment to admire the sight in front of her before she makes any effort to join him. But when she does, it's with a softly pleased little smile lifting her lips up at the edges, and a haste that more than makes up for time spent just watching.
She laughs, settling into his lap carefully, winding her arms around his neck to hold him tight. "You and me both."
