A shame that he isn't moving all that slow and that he can't read her thoughts. If he was to know she was in a hurry - he'd have a lazy smile on his lips and Han would have to make some mention of her wanting to rush into getting him alone.

Instead, she's treated to what it's like to walk through a dingy alley with Han Solo. If she were to look carefully at his face, it would be a bit hard to read. He has a look on it that seems to be looking at everything at once or possibly nothing at all.

He, also, might be a tad more quiet now than he was inside the cantina. Not to the point of being unfriendly or in a way that suggests he doesn't want to talk anymore, but ... he does seem slightly different now.

"My ship is still half taken apart." He reminds her with a half hearted shrug. "I can't go anywhere in a hurry."

Carol isn't one to chase or make someone chase her. She just doesn't have the time or interest in that. There have been times when she's been unaware of someone's interest, but she never knowingly makes someone go on a chase.

While she doesn't always know what she wants, she knows that she wants Han. He's fascinating, handsome, treats her with the right kind of humor and respect. It's hard to say what may come of all of it, and she's not entirely good with labels, but you don't toss out a connection like this without good reason.

Her eyes stay closed as she relishes in the closeness and takes a moment to bring her brain back to the question. It really depends on the circumstances and the person. Tonight she can't imagine not being close to him.

"That's up to you. I'd like to be close but I won't deny you some space if you want it."

“I lived in a spaceship most of my life.” Han murmurs with a faint smile. “If the walls aren’t closing in on me and I’m not living on top of someone, I can’t get comfortable.”

A joke. To keep Carol smiling because she has a pretty smile when he’s caught glimpses of it. He supposed she could take it to mean that he’ll curl up with anything, but that’s not true. She might not know how he normally acts around women, but she gotta realize that he’s into her. He didn’t smile nearly as much at the cantina, anway ...

She does smile at the joke - and she is aware that it's a joke - before leaning in for another quick kiss. "Better make sure you're comfortable, then."

While she's not always great at gauging interest, she has a feeling that he's into her. He's definitely smiling more than he was in the cantina, he's slowly revealing things about himself, those kisses are damn suggestive, and while he could've easily rolled out of bed and moved on he seems pretty damn content to just lie under her for the foreseeable future. She may be mostly oblivious but she's not a complete idiot.

“Thank you. You’re a thoughtful host.”

He could have tried to roll away when they were finished. If she wanted to keep him pinned down, he wouldn’t go anywhere, but he’s almost positive that she wouldn’t abuse her strength like that. She’s just good. He doesn’t know how he can be so sure of that, but he is. Whether this was a short term or longer term thing, he can’t see her forcing him into anything he wasn’t willing to go along with.

And with that thought, Han kisses her back and flops his back onto her bed like he belongs there. With her being the on top person around here, it’s on her to get the repositioning going. If she wants to be repositioned at all. He’d be content to let her just lay on top of him all night.

"I don't entertain often. I figure I better do it right."

She does end up shifting her body so that's she's lying on her side next to him. Part of that is because she's afraid that if she fell asleep on top of him her back would hate her a bit in the morning (she's still a relatively young woman but sometimes it's hell getting old) and part so that her hand can roam over the entirety of his chest.

She's glad that he doesn't roll away, but she would never stop him if he wanted to. Something like that isn't even considerable. They can see whatever this is through until one of them doesn't want to anymore. It might be a little more complicated if more intense feelings develop, but she'll deal with that if it happens.

“Workaholic?”

It’s the first and most logical reason that he can think of. She may or may not have the charisma to just walk into a bar and amble off with whomever she wants, but she’s beautiful. There would be plenty of people who wouldn’t mind going home with her. Knowing that, Han feels fortunate that he was the guy.

If she’s facing toward him, Solo will sling an arm around her back. If she’s facing away, around her middle. Something to keep her just a little bit drawn into him. He likes her warmth, but he doesn’t really get a lot of closeness and he aims to soak it up like a sponge.

“To a fault.”

Though he vast majority of the time she doesn’t regret it. There are always things to do, days to save, people to help, and more often than not when she tries to take a day off someone likes to make an attack.

But mostly, besides her cat and some close friends, she doesn’t have much outside of work.

Carol’s facing towards him so that conversation feels more natural and she can run her hand over his stomach and chest. Normally she isn’t so cuddly with a man she just met, but she feels comfortable around him. And if he is going to wrap an arm around her to keep her close, then who is she to resist?

“I imagine your schedule is usually pretty packed, too.”

“Lotta hurry up and wait in my line of work.”

She didn’t especially need to know that Han had just been involved in what amounted to being a huge battle between rival crime families (and an imperial battalion). Even if it was his plan that turned the tide and made sure it was his boss that came out on top, it wasn’t going to impress someone who wasn’t privy to the politics of where he comes from. And probably not going to impress someone who spent their time helping galactic refugees, anyway.

Maybe he should have made it seem like he was a big shot. Like he always had jobs lined up and anyone would be lucky to get him alone, but it wasn’t true. Nor did that impression make it easier to want to connect with someone.

Han’s body still has the traces of youth in them. There was still a little bit of softness in his face and form that is usually nowhere to be found in someone in their thirties. There’s also something about him that suggests that he’s always going to look a little bit younger that his chronological age. There’s some body hair for her to find, but not a lot.

"I can believe it." She didn't have any experience in smuggling, but it made sense as what you were doing was not entirely above board.

She's glad that he's giving her real answers because she's liking the Han that he's slowly but surely revealing to her. Carol hasn't really shared a ton of herself, but he has seen almost the full range of her powers and to her, that's showing a lot of who she is.

The hints of softness are something she doesn't see in a lot of her partners. Most of them have been her age or older, or formed hard by a career in the military. Though despite that softness he's clearly been shaped by a hell of a life so far.

Since he's already opted to keep her close, she gently hooks a leg over one of his. "I'm glad both of our schedules were open."

She's right about that. His life has never been a comfortable one and there's something in his presence that gives that away too, much as he tries not to show it. It could be those hands that have the wear of hard work on them already, but it could be in his eyes too.

The palms of his rough hand smooth over her thigh, not only accepting the new contact, but encouraging it as well. It makes him smile a little bit that she feels so comfortable being close to him. He likes the feeling of being appreciated by her a whole heck of a lot.

"Me too." He said nodding his pillow cradled head. "Wasn't expecting much out of tonight, but ... I dunno. It always seems like in the moments I don't expect anything to happen, something does. Like the calm before the weather suddenly changes ..."

The feeling of his hand on her thigh makes her smile again. Part because she just loves how his hands feel and part because she appreciates the affirmation that it's okay for her leg to be there.

"Shhhh!" she shushes out quickly after his sentence. Then it's followed by a mock groan as she rubs her forehead. "I'm worried that you just jinxed it all." Her luck was...not great. And while she knew that Han really wouldn't cause anything massive, sometimes she worried about even breathing an acknowledgement of it.

Han glances down at her. He seems to be caught by surprise that Carol is suddenly trying to shush him. It didn't dawn on him that he could be inviting more trouble with his comment, but he got up to speed after a second or two.

He leans in to give her a quick kiss. As if that was somehow reassurance that everything was going to be just fine.

"I was talking about us. We're the storm, sweetheart."

"Oh," she replies before sheepishly returning his kiss. She's not sure if the kiss is acting as actual reassurance, but it's definitely good and definitely helping her not think about potential impending doom.

"Then that's acceptable." And to just try and bury the fact that she recently shushed him, she's going to kiss him again and really draw it out.

Han does not seem put off by the fact that she shushed him.

Whether it the kiss or the fact that she acknowledged that she’s getting what he meant, he’s already mollified. As he kisses her back slowly and deeply, his hand slips down a little lower - off of her lower back and curving around her rear instead. His arm encouraging her to press against him even more.

Thank goodness for that.

The hand on her ass is all the sign she needs to keep going. So she presses her body tightly against him and indulges in an even deeper kiss. Her continues to wander over his chest but then moves down to skate over his length. It's just an exploratory, questioning touch. Again, she hadn't expected a third round, but he seems pretty passionate at the moment.

He’s getting there. It’s helpful that he’s still on that youngish side right now.

As she’s touching below the belt, she’ll notice that he’s about half as hard as he’d gotten for her before and starting to get that upward curve back. With a burst of effort, he tries to roll her onto her back. He has no idea if he’ll have any success with it or if it’s going to feel like pushing into a wall made of muscle and skin, but he’s giving it a try.

Hell, she's impressed with the hardness she discovers. Later she'll have to make a remark about it but she's rather busy right now.

If Carol was trying to resist him he'd feel a wall made of muscle and skin. However, she's much more interested in whatever he's got on his mind and she happily rolls over to see exactly what that is. Her hand shifts around to his back to feel out the skin and muscle there again while she waits.

What he has in mind? Well, he'd always meant to take his time with her. It just seems to be hard for them to slow down when the two of them get close like this. Han's not even sure that this time will be the one where they really take it slow, but that's what he's trying to initiate.

While Carol is caressing the length of his back, he'll lean in close to press some slow kisses to her throat. The warmth of her is tremendously inviting and even though she's more muscular than any partner he's had, she's always felt real good pressed against him.

After a while of taking his time to kiss over her pulse points and collarbone, he'll start diverting his attention a little lower ...

Carol will do her best to go along with whatever he has planned. Since she has more stamina and doesn't have as much of a physical reset timer as he does, she's happy for whatever else they do.

She lets out a series of happy sighs as his lips connect to her throat and one of her hands slides back into his hair. With so much time between her sexual encounters, she often forgets just how good it feels to have a man really pay attention to your entire body. So while he kisses whatever he likes, she'll just keep slowly moving those hands in exploration.

His lips are wandering. If it’s up to him and she’s not gonna squirm away, he’ll taste every inch of her skin. It’s as much for him as it is for her, because deep under the more superficial layers of Han Solo, is a man that wants to look out for other people. And there hasn’t been a lot of opportunity for him to be that guy for one reason or another..

Her breast get attention. Her nipples. Down the length of her abdomen. Then lower still. He’s got every intention to go down on her, if she’ll let him. Everything seems to be going well so far, so he begins with just the teasing of breath between her thighs.

Once he moves down from her breasts Carol knows where he's heading and there's no way in hell she's going to deter him. Related, if he wants to taste every inch of her skin she won't deter him from that either.

"Mmmm," she hums out softly in encouragement as he settles between her legs. The breath is light and teasing and does its job of making her want a whole lot more. Her gently runs her fingers through his hair before giving him a smile that she can hope he can interpret as 'go for it.'

He can’t tell if Carol’s stamina is so great that she can just be ready again moments after or if she just needs less time to recover than him. As long as she’s willing to be patient with him and his limitations, it’s a non-issue, but this could become a new favorite way to by himself some time between rounds.

Anyways, with the smile and the hum of positive reinforcement to spur him on? He presses more kisses along the inside of her thighs. As far as he can tell her skin doesn’t taste any different than his other girlfriends had. Maybe if there is a difference, he just can’t perceive it. The feel of it is a little different. Her skin is soft enough, but the muscle beneath is quite toned. There’s less give to her body than he’s had with other partners.

From there, he works his way to that sensitive area between both legs. He presumes, right or wrong, that the same approach that he’d have for going down on any other woman would work on her - everything else has so far - and so he always starts with a skin to skin approach. Letting her feel the weight of his face down there, the brush of his cheeks against sensitive flesh, closed lips and his distinctive chin.

Just a less time thing. Her stamina is pretty damn good but she is still half human. But she doesn't expect Han to have the same short reboot time. They've had a good two rounds tonight and that's more than she anticipated for the evening.

But she's certainly not complaining if he wants to keep going. She grins at his kisses and lets out a muffled sound of contentment as she feels his skin press against her down there. Carol's trying not to have any expectations, but if his lips are half as good down there as they are on her lips, well, it should be a good time.

It so happens he is pretty good at going down on lady. It helps to have a partner willing to coach you through it and explain what works at what doesn’t when you’re in that novice phase. He’s had the older girlfriend before - the one that’s not ashamed to tell exactly what she wanted and all of Han’s other partners thereafter have reaped the benefits.

He knows not simply to bulldoze in, but take his time. To alternate rubbing skin to skin skin with humming and using the tongue. His oral game is pretty strong and he likes the thought of doing something simply for the sake of his partner’s pleasure.

Carol lets out a soft hum of contentment and follows that with a soft moan almost immediately after. "Mmm, that's good," she offers as encouragement for him to keep it up.
