Walking the earth with eyes turned skywards ...
A shame that he isn't moving all that slow and that he can't read her thoughts. If he was to know she was in a hurry - he'd have a lazy smile on his lips and Han would have to make some mention of her wanting to rush into getting him alone.
Instead, she's treated to what it's like to walk through a dingy alley with Han Solo. If she were to look carefully at his face, it would be a bit hard to read. He has a look on it that seems to be looking at everything at once or possibly nothing at all.
He, also, might be a tad more quiet now than he was inside the cantina. Not to the point of being unfriendly or in a way that suggests he doesn't want to talk anymore, but ... he does seem slightly different now.
"My ship is still half taken apart." He reminds her with a half hearted shrug. "I can't go anywhere in a hurry."

"It is nice. Especially when I have passengers." Not only because she can a place away for herself, but because sometimes she intimidated people and it was good for them to have a break from her.
She took another sip from her glass before setting it down on the desk as well. Then Carol steps back up to Han and sets her hands on his arms again. "I think we were about here?"
no subject
In nice and close, her hands on his arms was how she was positioned - that much is true. He hasn't gotten himself into the position that he was in, though, which makes a difference. Han's hands settle into the small of her back. This makes the two bodies graze against each other in appealing ways.
"This is how I remember it."
Maybe retcons what she's wearing? I couldn't recall if it was established...
Carol decided not to visit the cantina in her full uniform, so she had opted for some more standard civilian clothing. They're both wearing jackets, but before her hands get too distracted, Carol decides to shrug hers off and toss it in the general direction of the desk chair. This leaves her t-shirt, jeans, and boots.
I was wondering. I dont think we touched on it. Han is in ESB wardrobe, fyi.
He lets go just enough for her to shrug out of her jacket with some difficulty. You can't blame him, really. He went through all that trouble to remind her of the way that they were holding each other and almost instantly she finds a reason to squirm away.
He'd have half of a mind to hold it against her ... if it was for any reason other than to lose a layer of clothing. He takes it upon himself to further remind her how nice it is to kiss him.
Excellent.
So thank goodness for him reminding her of the kissing. Her arms gently slide around his shoulders mostly as a reminder to herself not to do anything silly like step away from him. While her hands are up there one of them takes the opportunity to carefully move through the hair near the top of his neck.
It feels like it would be very easy to get used to the slow, weighty kisses of Han Solo.

Behind closed doors with another good-looking pilot is something he doesn't want to rush.
The hands in the hair is among the ultimate expressions of trust that Han can give to someone. It's not something he lets people just do ... but for some reason, he's alright with Carol doing it. (In the same way, perhaps, that she doesn't really let people use endearments apart from Han.) It's taken as an invitation to further explore. You touch me and I touch you back.
He lets his hands drop lower still. To the point where you couldn't really say they were on her 'back' anymore and he traces over curves that he was simply admiring before.
no subject
He definitely won't hear any protesting as his hands slide further down her backside. Carol's actually pretty sure he could touch any part of her right now and she wouldn't protest. She hums in agreement of the placement and hopefully he can read the encouragement in that noise as well.
no subject
The casual exploration of each other is going well. There's no reason that he can figure that he shouldn't be appreciating the chemistry between them, which is becoming more and more and apparent by the moment. For Han, he's beginning to deal with some of the physical cues of attraction - pulse hastening, the feeling of warmth ebbing over him and something besides an elaborate holster that Carol might feel while they continue to press together.
At some point, Captain Solo feels stifled by his jacket and he backs off enough to shrug out of it.
no subject
Carol notices the something besides the elaborate holster and it helps coax more warmth into her body. She already runs a few degrees warmer than normal humans but it's kicking up a couple more as her body reacts to his touch. If she was thinking a little clearer she'd kick down the temperature of the room a few degrees for him, but she's definitely not. Later.
It's her turn to have a moment of frustration that they're broken apart but she forgives it as soon as she realizes that the jacket is coming off. Once it's gone her hands are at his sides to explore what had just moments ago been covered by the garment.

He is handsome, though. Magnetic when he wants to be. Hazel eyes that you could get trapped in. There are things going for him.
It does feel warm in here to him. It doesn't register as something unusual just yet ... they've been drinking. They're into each other. Everything feels a bit flushed. It makes sense that he'd be warm, but ultimately, he finds himself tugging off the white shirt fairly quickly.
no subject
Perhaps she should be pulling off her own t-shirt to match his state of undress, but she's swept up in his gaze again and moving in for another kiss as her hands trace over all the new skin available to them. He's going to have to lend a hand if he wants more of her clothes off.
no subject
So she gets some time to put her hands all over Han Solo. Some. Pilots know there is a balance between enjoying the ride and making sure you do end up getting to your destination.
Eventually, Han starts prompting with those rough hands of his, sliding leisurely under the hem of her shirt and easing the hem up a couple of inches that she ought to join him in being topless.
no subject
But then her hands are back on him and brushing just under the waistband of his pants.
no subject
His eyes are instantly drawn to her hands. Everything was feeling a little bunched down there to begin with and all the more so with a hand slipping in to search around. He's wearing briefs that are a lightweight material. Hard to get the sense of what he's packing, but it's filling up the limited space.
Han swallows and exhales a breath he didn't notice he was holding.
"The holster comes off like this." He murmurs, beginning with a strap at mid-thigh and working his way up to the buckle in the middle.
If she only knew how much trust he had to have in someone to show them that ... how exposed he feels when it comes off ... it surprises him that he's showing her.
no subject
She watches as he undoes his holster. The importance of it isn't totally realized, but she does recall times before her powers when she was terrified to be separated from her side arm. They're still mostly strangers and she is touched that he trusts her that much.
"That's a nice holster," she comments. "I like the strap on the thigh." Might be weird foreplay talk for some, but it feels natural to her. "You can put it on the desk. Or I can." She wanted to respect how much the thing meant to him, so if he didn't want her to handle it, she wouldn't be slighted.
With the time apart and Han's pants on the way to leaving, Carol's mind finally goes to what she's wearing. He's already seen the plain gray bra she's wearing but she's relieved that she's got on a matching pair of briefs. Quite honestly she didn't expect to pick up anyone at the cantina and it's a small miracle that they're matching.
no subject
They have enough similar interests that he can easily imagine him getting into discussions with her about sidearm placement and some of the other fine points of blaster use and ownership. Even without knowing for sure whether she feels strongly about it, he just feels like he could. Not every woman he's met has made him feel that way.
Han folds the holster up and hands it to her gently. In the meantime, he figures he can work on the belt. Perhaps steal another amorous glance while her back is to him.
no subject
As for blasters, she'd be happy to talk about them with him. In fact it wouldn't be completely unlikely that pillow talk could turn into a discussion about usage and ownership. She's known men who like to talk about weapons, but she can tell it's different with him.
She turns back to him and takes the couple steps back. Since he has his own belt under control she works on her own. It's nothing fancy so it only takes her a couple of moments to open it.
no subject
That has him left in only his briefs and at that point, she'll be able to see that Han is still pretty good-looking without his clothes on. Also that he probably won't disappoint when the briefs come off either.
Han spends half of his mental energy admiring her and the other half thinking about how little coaxing from the bottle they actually needed to get to this point.
"Well, I like your uh ..." Han scratches the back of his head thoughtfully. "... all of you"
no subject
Carol is admiring his nearly-nude frame and then lets out a bit of a laugh. "I like your all of you, too."
And since she knows how often she nearly puts her foot in her mouth, she's just going to side step all of that by looped her arms around his waist again and kissing him. She's trying to keep it slow and weighty like before, but it's decidedly harder with only thin layers of fabric between them.
no subject
Walking to the desk and back, Carol gives Han a chance to adjust to the temperature in the room when she's not near. Plus an opportunity to feel the change a few degrees warmer when she comes back - independent of his feelings of arousal because that's been consistent the whole time. He still isn't completely certain that she's warm, but he'll be thinking about it when he approaches her again. If there is an again.
For what it's worth ... it's a bit harder for him to keep it slow right now, too.
"You 'bout as heavy as you look, sweetheart? Or does the power make you denser or lighter?"
no subject
"Yeah. Touch heavier, but not by much." Like just a handful of pounds of difference. And while she was thin, she did have a decent amount of muscle on her 5'11" frame.
no subject
With that little matter cleared up, he's definitely going to (try) hoist her over his shoulder and carry her to bed like she was a sack of jorgan fruit. He gets the sense that there a lot of people who would even attempt to pick Carol up and he likes the idea of being 'the guy that does things others don't'.
It's not a long walk to the bed. A couple of paces. Maybe it gives her a moment or two of feeling like she's not invulnerable.
no subject
And okay, fine, it is a decent angle to get a good look at his ass.
"You are freaking unbelievable," she grumbles as they get to the bed. It does give her a few moments of feeling like she's not invulnerable, but it's also a few moments of not being in control and she hates that.
no subject
His comeback is so soft and swift that it couldn't be mistaken for anything other than it's lighthearted intent. He has been trying to generally avoid the subject of her being powered so far, but he figures that on some level she's comfortable with them - or else why would she be so forthright with him?
Still, the grumbling means he obviously has made some level of misstep and he must give her the apology eyes. It's a look that would give a sad puppy a run for its money. He explains, "I was just trying to have a little fun."
no subject
Carol is comfortable with her powers and talking about them with others. She hasn't brought them up much because 1) there was a ship to look at and 2) she didn't know how comfortable Han was with them. He hadn't been scared off but that didn't mean he wasn't wary.
A smile coaxes its way back onto her lips when she sees that face. "Wow. It's gotta be hard for women to stay mad at you." When she looks back on the move later she'll actually be impressed that he went for it.
