A shame that he isn't moving all that slow and that he can't read her thoughts. If he was to know she was in a hurry - he'd have a lazy smile on his lips and Han would have to make some mention of her wanting to rush into getting him alone.

Instead, she's treated to what it's like to walk through a dingy alley with Han Solo. If she were to look carefully at his face, it would be a bit hard to read. He has a look on it that seems to be looking at everything at once or possibly nothing at all.

He, also, might be a tad more quiet now than he was inside the cantina. Not to the point of being unfriendly or in a way that suggests he doesn't want to talk anymore, but ... he does seem slightly different now.

"My ship is still half taken apart." He reminds her with a half hearted shrug. "I can't go anywhere in a hurry."

They both have military in their backgrounds. Clothes on and off with little preamble is familiar to both of them. Even with romance in the air.

Walking to the desk and back, Carol gives Han a chance to adjust to the temperature in the room when she's not near. Plus an opportunity to feel the change a few degrees warmer when she comes back - independent of his feelings of arousal because that's been consistent the whole time. He still isn't completely certain that she's warm, but he'll be thinking about it when he approaches her again. If there is an again.

For what it's worth ... it's a bit harder for him to keep it slow right now, too.

"You 'bout as heavy as you look, sweetheart? Or does the power make you denser or lighter?"

Her hands move over his back again and then shift to his sides. His question leads her to believe that he may want to pick her up. Thankfully questions about weight haven't really bothered her.

"Yeah. Touch heavier, but not by much." Like just a handful of pounds of difference. And while she was thin, she did have a decent amount of muscle on her 5'11" frame.

It's an important question for two reasons; she should be prepared that for Han's occasional crassness and he doesn't want to throw out his back early into the evening - if happens later, it will have at least been worth it.

With that little matter cleared up, he's definitely going to (try) hoist her over his shoulder and carry her to bed like she was a sack of jorgan fruit. He gets the sense that there a lot of people who would even attempt to pick Carol up and he likes the idea of being 'the guy that does things others don't'.

It's not a long walk to the bed. A couple of paces. Maybe it gives her a moment or two of feeling like she's not invulnerable.

It was one thing that he kept calling her sweetheart - picking her up like a sack of potatoes is quite another. Since it's only a few steps to the bed she doesn't have time to wiggle out of it, but she certainly pokes at his back.

And okay, fine, it is a decent angle to get a good look at his ass.

"You are freaking unbelievable," she grumbles as they get to the bed. It does give her a few moments of feeling like she's not invulnerable, but it's also a few moments of not being in control and she hates that.

"Says the woman who makes blasts from her hands."

His comeback is so soft and swift that it couldn't be mistaken for anything other than it's lighthearted intent. He has been trying to generally avoid the subject of her being powered so far, but he figures that on some level she's comfortable with them - or else why would she be so forthright with him?

Still, the grumbling means he obviously has made some level of misstep and he must give her the apology eyes. It's a look that would give a sad puppy a run for its money. He explains, "I was just trying to have a little fun."

She relaxes a little at his comeback because, well, it's a good point.

Carol is comfortable with her powers and talking about them with others. She hasn't brought them up much because 1) there was a ship to look at and 2) she didn't know how comfortable Han was with them. He hadn't been scared off but that didn't mean he wasn't wary.

A smile coaxes its way back onto her lips when she sees that face. "Wow. It's gotta be hard for women to stay mad at you." When she looks back on the move later she'll actually be impressed that he went for it.

It is hard for women to stay mad at him. It was easier for women when he was a couple of years younger and he didn't realize how much he could get away with. And he's generally the kind of guy that would rather apologize than ask for permission.

"You know what they say about going to bed angry." He says with that faint smile on his lips, while he begins to close the gap of space that was still between them.

All that time with her on his shoulder and then having to be sorry has really made him miss the warmth of her kiss. His eyes are a touch hopeful that she isn't so bothered by him that she'll reject him now.

The move was a little dumb, but not so dumb that she's going to reject him and kick him out of bed. Especially not since he's closing the distance between them and his eyes are doing that thing where she doesn't want to look away.

"Good thing I'm not planning on sleeping just yet," she replies just before meeting his lips with her own. Carol pulls him the rest of the way down - she can more than take the weight - and then hooks a leg around one of his own. That should clear up any confusion that she may not want to continue.

She takes his weight well. There was not a doubt in his mind that she would.

Horizontal laying against each other doesn't really teach Han anything new about the two of them as a pair. They feel nice against each other when they were holding each other and they feel good together now. Only this pose makes it virtually impossible to ignore all the blood rushing to his groin and it's hard for him to take it slow.

She doesn't miss a beat and he's smiling at her quip through an exchange of their lips. In the off chance that she was wondering if he had cooled off, the fact that he's trying to ease off her bra out to clue her in.

Carol's really not taking much notice of how their bodies are working together past the fact that he is pressing against her and it makes her want to go faster, too.

Once she realizes that he's going for her bra, she shifts her torso and arms to help out. They're on the bed, they're nearly naked, there's no reason to slow down now.

They should be naked by now. There's been a lot flirting, kissing and posturing, but what is the point of holding off anymore? This scoundrel can't think of anything.

As Carol finishes the wiggling to get out of her bra, he decides to use the little bit of seperation they already have to push his briefs off. Funny how such a small piece of clothing can seem stifling in times like ... well, this one. He's got a good size - maybe on the large side, if she cares to steal a glance, though she's not gonna get a great look with them practically on top of each other.

Oh, she takes a look. It's definitely not great with the position they're in, but she's definitely not going to not look. Hopefully she'll get a chance to admire him fully later.

As soon as the bra is gone she immediately reaches down to pull off her underwear as well. She doesn't want to wait any longer and based on the speed of his underwear removal he doesn't want to either. This is why as soon as they're completely naked she's kissing him again and gently rocking her hips up against his. Mmm, yeah, based on the size she's feeling she definitely has to get a look later.

Can't blame her for looking. He ends up glancing at himself too, not really knowing the reason why, because it's going to look the way that it always does. Then he finds himself glancing up quick enough to check on her reaction.

It kind of feels to him like waiting to pass an inspection to Han. He seems to have gotten clearance by the eager return to his kiss and the suggestive nudging of her hips. He's chasing that warmth of hers and in this moment, it almost feels like she's daring him to keep up - either consciously or unconsciously.

He answers the coaxing by leaning in close. Lining up his hips with hers. Wordlessly teasing his length between her legs.

It's definitely unconscious because Carol's mind is singularly focused on go, go, go... There's no barriers, he feels damn good on top of her, and it's not a matter of rushing but if they stand still any longer she may just burst of need.

Which is why she lets out quite the gasp when he teases her. Sure she had been expecting something for the last minute or so but actually finally feeling him after all the touching and flirting, well, he's on track to get a passing grade in the inspection.

"So how much of a tease are you?"

As the pentrator in this situation, there's a certain way that he tends to do things - particularly with a partner he doesn't really know - to make sure the other party remains copacetic. There tends to be some alcohol to make everyone's inhibitions nice and loose. Then he tends to take his time with everything. Not everyone can just push Han off of them as easy as Captain Marvel can if they're having second thoughts, after all.

This time is all mucked up, though. He likes Carol a lot and so there's more pressure that he's put on himself to make sure she's getting what she wants. And something about her makes it more chanllenging to take everything at his usual pace. That urgency in her body language and that warm feeling, maybe ...

"This isn't my usual approach anyway." He admits. "Do you need this to be quick, Captain?"

And clearly she's not helping him. Carol really doesn't pick up men all that often, and they're definitely not someone she clicks with as well as Han. So while she's trying not to be so eager, her body is betraying her.

"No," she replies, reaching up to push some of his stray hair away from his eyes. "I'm just really bad at being patient for something I really want." But the last thing she wanted to do was rush through all of this with him.

It dawns on Han that he's being caught with his pants down in more ways than one. He didn't want her to pick up on the fact that he's a tad nervous. That he doesn't really do this all that often. That the unphased pilot in the cantina might be an insecure young man under all the shielding.

So he smiles his lopsided smile, the one that he counts on to cover over so much, and looks her right in the eyes.

"I don't see no reason why we can't go full tilt." He says in those saccharine tones that his voice gets when he's speaking softly. "We can always slow down later."

If they decide to continue to stay in contact and see each other after tonight, hopefully he'll learn that she doesn't care. So far his guise of confidence has held because Carol is assuming that he has more experience (both in number of times and regularity) than her. Not that she's any kind of blushing near-virgin here, but she always prioritizes work over personal fun. Any kind of nerves she may have noticed she assumed where because of him taking someone with powers to bed.

"Fine by me." Any pace is fine - one of them will probably change it anyway - she's just so anxious to start.

Oh. That's in there too. The fact that she's powered means he really doesn't know what to expect or if there's anything to expect at all. The fact that she's special, maybe the only person like her alive, and you could meet a guy like him in any cantina in the galaxy. It definitely adds to the anxious feeling.

It will feel better when they get going, though. Like navigating through a field of asteroids, it's only nerve-wracking for that moment before you fly in.

He takes a breath and pushes in. All the muscles along the length of his back and in his thighs tense, partially because he doesn't know if he has to push harder than normal and partially because he feels like he ought to get going. You better believe he's trying to notice if it feels any different because she's part alien.

When he's in? It's right into a medium pace for the Corellian.

He'll be relieved to find out that Carol is still quite the normal human when it comes to this. No harder pushing required. Hopefully it feels all normal on his end.

Carol lets out a low, pleased groan as he pushes in and starts to fill her. Once he's in deep enough her leg comes up to wrap around his waist. There's an exhilarating feeling around them - one that doesn't always come when she's having sex.

She waits until she has a sense of his rhythm and then starts rocking back to meet his thrusts. Her lips drift over his jawline and occasionally stop to press a kiss to his skin.

A minute or so into the act and yeah, he's determined that this is pretty much the way it's felt with any other humanoid. Apart from that fact that he feels kind of warm. Or the general sense of being fond of her.

Now that things are in motion and the motion of things are going well, Han's jitters are subsiding. All indications are that Carol is enjoying herself as much as he is. Her legs wrapped around his hips is keeping them both exactly where they want to be and gives him freedom to pick up the pace when he likes. He does.

His work, loading and unloading cargo, tends to strengthen a lot of the muscles you recruit during sex - the posterior chain, the abdomen, the quadriceps - so he'll compare well for an everyday human male.

He doesn't make a lot of sounds. Breathing. The occasional groan of pleasure when he falls into a good groove. At one point he'll lean in enough to kiss her lips back, which is an effort he doesn't usually make for everyone.

Yeah, that warmth thing isn't going to go away. So hopefully that won't be too terribly distracting for the rest of the night.

On her side she doesn't have a single complaint so far. He feels incredible, the pace is good, and every time he groans it feels like a tiny, personal victory. If she knew about the extra effort he was expending on her she'd feel kind of special.

But now, her fingers press into his back (not enough to hurt him but certainly enough for him to feel them) as she moves to match his new rhythm. She quite likes that he's picked it up and is happy to meet it.

Hard to say how long it goes for. Han never actually tries to time himself. More often than not he isn't exactly sober when he lands in bed with someone and you just don't think to do something like that when you're drunk. Or he doesn't anyway.

It just goes. It goes as long as Han can hang in there for while trying to make it last. Since they didn't really talk about the way this ought to end before they started, he figures he ought to say something.

"Getting close." He murmurs. It's enough to get the point across, but he doesn't have much more breath for anything else.

Carol's not timing them and she doesn't have any kind of internal timer power that would make her take note. What she does note is how good he feels and the sensations that he's coaxing out of her body.

Carol keeps up with him as long as he does and could probably go longer. But she's thankful that when he murmurs about getting close that she's close as well.

"Me too," she murmurs back before pressing a kiss to his jaw. She's on birth control and her body can fight off most diseases so she's really not worried about any unwanted outcome.

That's enough of a permission for him. She had any moment where she could have told him what she wanted and she got an opportunity from him to give direction. He figures that's being decent enough.

Han takes the opportunity to really lay into her for the climax. He's not normally into trying to pound a girl into submission, but he knows the girl who can leave her impression in the side of a building can probably take it. He's only up to that pace for a matter of moments before he's flexing his back and driving deep into her.

No mistaking that he's done when the fog of pleasure hits his brain and his fluid is joined with hers.
